Lagos: Eight more suspects arrested over killing of Bureau de Change operators
The police in Lagos say they’ve arrested eight more suspects allegedly concerned within the latest killing of a police sergeant and two Bureau de Change operators in Ikorodu space of the state.
A police supply instructed the Information Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday that the suspects have been arrested at an deserted building firm in Odogunyan space of Ikorodu, the place they allegedly used as their base.

He stated regardless of paying the sum of N1.6 million as ransom, the abductors refused to launch the victims and nothing more was heard from them.
“The victims telephones remained switched off. The Commissioner of police, CP Zubairu Muazu detailed the Commander, Particular Anti Theft Squad (SARS) to carryout an investigation into the matter with a view of rescuing the victims and apprehending the suspects.
“Operatives from SARS Ipakodo base led by SP Godfrey Soriwei arrested three suspects. The suspects confessed to the fee of the crime and led operatives to their den at Ikorodu the place they dumped the corpses in a septic tank,” he stated.
The police spokesman in Lagos, DSP Bala Elkana, didn’t reply to calls from NAN and textual content messages in search of affirmation of the arrests.
