2026 World Cup: Qualified Countries Confirmed So Far (Updated List)

FIFA has continued the qualification process for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with several countries already securing their spots in the expanded tournament.

The 2026 edition will be historic, featuring 48 teams for the first time and hosted across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

The 48-team line-up for the 2026 World Cup has been determined.

This follows the completion of the European and intercontinental play-offs on Tuesday/Wednesday.

The final six teams to book their spots are Congo DR, Iraq, Sweden, Czech Republic, Turkiye and Bosnia & Herzogovina.

They will all join 42 other countries who have already qualified for the tournament.
