Nollywood Actor Ibrahim Chatta Loses His Son

Veteran Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has been thrown into mourning following the death of his son.

The Yoruba movie star shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram on September 6, 2025, writing:

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, Dear son, champ.”

Although the cause of death was not disclosed, fans and colleagues have flooded his page with prayers and condolences.

This tragedy comes shortly after actress Peju Ogunmola also lost her only son, leaving Nollywood in deep grief.
