Paramilitary Recruitment: FG Extends Application Deadline by One Week
The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced an extension to the ongoing paramilitary recruitment application process under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB). The initial deadline of August 4, 2025, has now been extended by one week, with the new deadline set for Monday, August 11, 2025.

According to CDCFIB Secretary, Major General (Rtd.) A. M. Jibril, the extension aims to give eligible Nigerians additional time to complete and submit their applications, especially in light of recent portal upgrades.
“Applicants who registered before the upgrade must update their information via the update portal and reprint their application slips,” the board emphasized.
