Despite being heavily pregnant, Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor has kept up with her ritual of reaching out to people.
The pregnant movie star, who is due anytime soon, via her Instagram page, shared a video of her reaching out to newly delivered mothers before going to the labour room. In the clip, Ruby visited Asaba Specialist hospital, Asaba, where she gave out pampers and wipes.

Ruby also showered them with prayers, declaring that the labour room wouldn’t swallow them.

“Let’s go do the ‘WORK OF CHRIST’
Reaching out to “Newly Delivered Mothers”
before going to the
“LABOUR ROOM”.
I pray for every mother who is due for delivery,
I decree and declare that the LABOUR ROOM” will not take your head in JESUS MIGHTY NAME AMEN
You will all go in there and come out alive in JESUS NAME AMEN.

Two weeks after her wedding, the newlywed visited one of her orphanage homes, City of David, to appreciate Jesus for the success of her wedding. Expressing gratitude to her Maker, she declared Him her engine and powerhouse.
Early last year, the Asaba actress bagged a humanitarian award. Declaring that giving is living, Ruby expressed gratitude to God as she stated that nothing gives her greater joy than doing the work of God.
In 2023, Ruby faced criticism for her approach to gifting money to children on the streets. The Asaba actress posted a video on Instagram of her throwing money on the street while children scrambled to pick it up. Fans responded to the video, suggesting that Ruby should have distributed the money to the children in a more organized and respectful manner.
That same year, Ojiakor had recounted how a fan embarrassed her at a movie location. She recounted how two fans stopped her and rained money on her, which left her shocked.
