TikToker was given a one-year jail sentence for taking a bath on the street in Kano.
Popular TikToker Umar Hashim, also known as Tsulange, was given a one-year jail sentence by a Kano State magistrate court for engaging in indecent behavior.
Hashim was convicted of public misconduct by the Gyadi Gyadi court, which was presided over by Magistrate Hadiza Muhammad Hassan.

Magistrate Hassan delivered the verdict and gave Tsulange a one-year jail sentence with the possibility of paying a ₦80,000 fine.

The court also ordered the convict to pay ₦20,000 to the Kano State Censorship Board to cover expenses incurred during the investigation and prosecution.
Tsulage was arraigned by the Censorship Board in June 2025 after he was arrested him for shooting a comedy skit in which he was seen bathing on a road while wearing a woman’s undergarment.
